Re: GPU of Xperia ZR/Z??

Xperia Z/ZR uses a 1.5GHz APQ8064. I've checked on Qualcomms pages and from what i can find (http://www.qualcomm.com/media/releases/2011/02/14/qualcomm-announces-next-generation-snapdragon-mobi...) the Adreno 320 in APQ8064 is a quad core GPU but i haven't been able to find any mention of clock speed of the GPU itself.

Re: GPU of Xperia ZR/Z??

Adreno 320, according to the drivers, can run at five-level clocks, namely 450MHz, 320MHz, 200MHz, and 200MHz. I say five because Adreno 320 can also be overclocked, like 533 MHz. But that might not be what you want, right? Well here we will lock it at 450MHz so that we always get supre gaming experience.

Re: GPU of Xperia ZR/Z??

K thank you guys for your answers. Slightly smiling Face
Just so curious because the gpu gives different benchmarks on different phones like on Samsung galaxy s4(s600) and Motorola droid maxx it's giving the highest, then comes the xperia z/zl/zr and htc one(s600) which gives quite low compared to the s4, and LG OPTIMUS G having the same chipset as z/zl/zr gives the worst...
But droid maxx gpu is a quad core adreno 320 and clocked at 400mhz only, but giving better results than the z/zl/zr. So this probably says that the gpu might be underclocked...
