I have some SMS messages on my experia x10 mini that are of immense sentimental value. I'm concerned that through normal ware and tear they could be lost, does anyone know if its possible to export the SMS messages via a USB or some other way I'm not aware of ?
Needless to say - I would very much appreciate any help here.

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, having tried a couple of times, the app you recommend does not connect to the phone. The phone connects to windows (via USB) just fine and I can explore the media on it via explorer. However, whether I try the sony ericsson or andrion option to connect it can't find the phone.
Anybody else got any ideas please?

http://market.android.com/details?id=com.fjsoft.myphoneexplorer.client&feature=search_result This is the My Phone Explorer client for android phones, so try using this in conjunction with the PC version. You may also want to check on File--Settings--Connection (in the PC version) to make sure you've ticked the right option.Hope this helps.

use any of this apps to back them up, the first option its by far the best, since it will sync your sms/mms to your gmail
Install "backup SMS" to back up your SMS and MMS to your Gmail
or your SMS use
"backup & restore SMS"
or for your MMS use "Save MMS"
or you can use another app such as
"I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." Kurt Cobain (1967-1994)
