The last couple of days I have been unable to download anything from the marketplace. It is also impossible to update the apps I already downloaded.
I can open and start the download, but after a few minutes the phone reports that the download failed.
Any suggestions for solving this problem?

It must be a problem with your connection. Try inserting a sim of another connection which has high speed internet (or whatever) enabled, change APNs and see if that does the trick. If yes, then you need to talk to your mobile operator.

if u are using a wifi connection then sumtimes it disconnects without u realising so try checking that first, if its still connected try disconnecting then reconnect and see if that helps

I'm having the same problem.
X10 informed there are application updates, tried to update them and everyone failed. This has only happened since yesterday
I have tried to install new apps and they fail to download also.
I have removed updates as instructed restarted my phone and that hasnt work
Help plz .......

When you say you have removed updates I take it you mean you have removed them from here
Settings > Applications > Manage applications >Market > tap on "Uninstall updates".
If you have does your internet connection still work properly, can you access the web OK.

Yes thats how I removed the updates
yes internet still works
when I try to update an app is looks like it starts to download then an error message of Download unsuccessful appears

I'm having the same problem. I can't update nor install apps I tried wi-fi and data connection, both failed... I don't have problem browsing though
