Re: Camera very slow, and poor quality

@iammote

I have multiple Xperias, I take quite a bit of pictures, and I know there's a lag if I use manual settings with HDR on or with other manual settings, if I use superior auto I can take a lot of pictures one after the other,

are you using the camera physical button or the screen?

do you have touch focus enabled?

Smile shutter on?

face recognition on?

Flash on?

I can't test the Z5 again just yet but soon I will, but I can test other Xperias. could you record a video of you using your Z5 trying to take multiple consecutive pictures?

Re: Camera very slow, and poor quality

Dear Sony, please give us RAW pictures with the marshmallow update. You have a great sensor here, but at 23mp there is no better resolution than your 12 and even 8mp competitors.

I bought this phone for the camera. I expect you to deliver on your promises.

I can confirm what he is saying, there are plenty of videos on Youtube on Xperia Z5 camera behaviour and speed, which is by far slowest in top line smartphones.

This is pain in butt for me too you take a photo and then have to wait for ages

With a 810 Snap Dragon chip im sure its not the hardware and more of poorly written software.

I had same isssue on the Z1 with lag as well i thought they would of fixed it by now
