Re: simlock.sa

In your opinion, there is no solution to this problem Sawa pay the fee to open the network?

In order not to fall into this problem again would you recommend to avoid using the FTF existing file simlock.sa

Re: simlock.sa

I'm sorry to say but yes, there's no solution but to spend few bucks to get it unlocked.

Flashtool is not a software by Sony, but PC Companion is.

Since it's a thirdy party software, no one can be held responsibe on the forum.

I have no idea what all steps you followed and which thread you used as your guide to flash using flashtool. If you see my guide here > http://talk.sonymobile.com/t5/Android-development/GUIDE-How-to-Install-Jelly-Bean-ICS-Ice-Cream-Sand...

This is a 3 years old guide and I've excluded Simlock.TA file in the screenshot if you can see.

Your phone could have been fine if you followed a good guide.

Here is the photo.

But yea, in severe cases, even excluding the TA file doesn't work and phone stops accepting sim cards. That just happens only with selected network operators with very aggressive inbuilt software.
