turn up brightness 100% > select a picture > take a screenshot > turn off bravia engine > take a screenshot of the same picture > compare the pictures.
If you don't see any difference then the Bravia engine is not working

You're right. There's no difference so I assume xrealty is not working. Furthermore when I restart the phone xreality is on 'off' even if it was on 'on' before. Would be interesting to know if that's the only feature that is not working or if there's more. I don't own an ps4 so I can't verify if Unxperia's problem would be resolved.

Dont buy Xperia Phones if you want to flash or root your Phone. Drm Keys will be deleted permanently after bootloader unlock and can not be restored. There are some methods of backing them up but there is no official way. Sony does this for years but they wont change. Or will they?
