EMMA binaries constantly outdated

Please update binaries in EMMA more frequently. In fact this is the only way official way to re-flash unlocked device.

Maybe you could use the same repositories for EMMA and COMPANION to get in sync?

BLOCKING UNLOCKED DEVICES IN XPERIA COMPANION IS A MISTAKE!!

HOW IT IS POSSIBLE THAT SONY ALLOWS UNLOCKING A DEVICE AND THEN BLOCKS USERS IN XPERIA COMPANION TO UPDATE OR REPAIR/REFLASH THEIR STUFF???

Add up-to-date images to EMMA

Please add up-to-date images to EMMA flashing tool. There is only Android 5.0 (fw 30.0) available, while in the meantime 5.1 and 6.0 got out..

Re: BLOCKING UNLOCKED DEVICES IN XPERIA COMPANION IS A MISTAKE!!

That's why reading all the pros and cons before unlocking the bootloader it's important, XC won't recognize which phone you have, the DRM keys are gone forever, etc etc.

Voiding the warranty

If you unlock the boot loader, you may void the warranty of your device and/or any warranty from your operator. See your device’s warranty statement for details. Additionally, due to the modified device software, Sony’s repair network will likely have to replace key components before it can properly test, repair and verify your device using our repair tools and software. Consequently, if Sony performs a warranty repair, Sony will likely charge you a significant service fee for the additional costs caused by your modification of the software.

I unlocked my previous 3 Xperia devices and had no problem to use XC as Repair tool at least. Now its blocked. And they provide old firmware on EMMA. Bad Sony! :-(
