@ahamedponmala You don't have to sign in. Just follow steps 3,4,5 carefully and you're done.

@Joan_F Hello.

After connecting your phone ( with unlocked bootloader) to PC, emma would display the available services for your phone. There is no time table or ETA for  future releases of firmware. All you can do is just check once in a while for updates, if any.

@javad1 "Downloaded firmware file" ? Where did you download it from ? Did you download a firmware through "Xperifirm" and are now trying to put it somewhere to flash it through Emma ?

If yes then I'm sorry, it won't work that way.

Emma downloads everything itself and shows you a list of available services "software/firmware" when you connect a phone ( supported by Emma} whose bootloader is unlocked.

Re: { EMMA } Sony Flash tool for Xperia™ devices

@javad1 Hey once again.

Nope man, it won't work that way. For downgrading, you will have to use other ways such as unofficial flashtool.

I have guides too, but I guess you need more updated ones.

Check these

Re: { EMMA } Sony Flash tool for Xperia™ devices

I have installed Emma on a Windows 7 machine, and the install says it worked fine. I have moved the customization.ini file. Emma updated the first time I tried to load it, then after it updated it just shut.  Whenever I try to open it it shows the splash screen, then closes, with no error message. I have tried uninstalling then reinstalling, and the same happens. I have tried removing the customization file. The same happens.

Here is the log file:

Pastebin URL: http://pastebin.com/wdMnK3Dr

I don't know if the

eclipse.buildId=unknown

is anything to do with it.

Re: { EMMA } Sony Flash tool for Xperia™ devices

Edit: Basically I have the same problem as the poster above me. Although I use Win10.

Emma won't start for me.

Well, to be more precise, when starting it first after installing, it downloads application update files, restarts, downloads other application update files, restarts and then the splash screen shows again, disappears and after that EMMA won't show up any more although it is still listed as background process in task manager. When I try to start Emma again, it just adds a second Emma background process.

I'm using Windows 10 64-bit.

Please help me start using Emma.
