DOCOMO SO-01J

Hi all,

Sony please allow a Xperia XZ SO-01J docomo to be flashed with gobal firmwares.

or at least modify my unlock bootloader to YES.

 

It is my device and honestly Its my right to do what ever I prefer with it's consequences too.

 

I wish i didn't throw money for docomo ...

I'm afraid that the bootloader can't be changed unless you replace the motherboard, which will cost you almost as much as a new device.

Mind the language

 

Network branded/SIM locked devices have the bootloader permanently locked, there's nothing that can be done other than replace the motherboard, which will cost almost the same as a new device, again, this is something carrier/networks request.

Thank you for your response.

Honestly I'm still loving my c6603 (what we sony lovers called as XZ back then) I can still get a taste of latest android version even via Lineage OS (that is freakin 5yo).... than xXZ.... pity... Whilst i know docomo only support software for 2years...

 

Can at least I know is there any possibility to replace the bootloader to global?

i want to do it too, but my UBL says no. is there any solution for that? thanks for your answer
