Japanese IME broken in AOSP

As soon the keyboard does an dictionary lookup, it just crashes which means most of the time it crashes after typing just two letters in roomaji input.

 

That really **bleep** Slightly frowning Face anyone else can reproduce this or help on how to fix it?

Hi,

 

the IME code is opensource in the AOSP

You can try to fix it and then submit the fix to Google
