binaries april 10

Hello,

Just used the new binaries (april 10) and changes on XperiaDev Git to make new AOSP 5.1, but I only see the Sony logo when booting: Android logo never appears (black screen)

Previous build worked very well (binaries of march 20)

Am I missing something? (already tried flashing boot, system & userdata)

Kind regards

Re: binaries april 10

kernel defualt branch is

aosp/AU_LINUX_ANDROID_LA.BF64.1.2.1_RB1.05.00.02.019.067

and is needed to build android with new blobs

we will update guide today to reflect the changes

thanks

Alin

Re: binaries april 10

What kernel branch is recommended nowadays for AOSP 5.1? The instructions and prebuild use AU_LINUX_ANDROID_LA.BF.2.1_RB1.05.00.00.173.012.

I assume it will work with the kernel from the default branch as well?

Re: binaries april 10

Thanks! I see the kernel blobs have dissapeared as well (e.g. "device-sony-eagle").

Have made a build: works very well: bluetooth (issues getting bluetooth in the "on" state) and shutdown (device auto powers on after 10 seconds when having used "power off") issues seem gone!

So: I have AOSP 5.1 with working Call, SMS, WiFi, Bluetooth on Xperia M2!
