okay so guess i found the reason .. Its a manufacturing defect i believe
chck the gsm arena review ...bottom of the page the video sample is given and i can see pink spot in their video also
strange but this problem is not just limited to Neo v .. Active & LWW is also suffering from it .. this time Gsm arena ppl also mentioned it in their review ..
Quite expectedly, the video quality is on par with the Live with Walkman. The videos run smooth, but the captured detail is low and there's a pinkish spot in the center.

You can try a firmware update, but whilst I have seen others mention this I have also seen a great number of cases where this issue is not present. With this being the case I would have to advise sending for repair if the update does not resolve the issue.

Well i tried and tested quite a few times and the problem i found was that the spot was their when we left the White balance in auto mode ..
When i tried it on Day mode during day and in flourescent or Incandescent mode .. the spot was hardly or say not der at all..
so i guess its smething with the settings and can be cured by a software update or ics ...
i am happy i didnt go to service center guys :
With a video sample ... sony auto setting is not good .. i did my own settings and i am happy about the result
