Re: We know you have questions about the Xperia neo - We have answers!

I already asked this in the ARC thread but since this is a new thread maybe it'll be easier to answer here and/or there

I have another question regarding screen brightness. comparing the X10 to Arc to Neo to Play and if possible to Pro

how much can we reduce the brightness?

The reason I ask is because either at night or in a dark setting the X10 its TOO bright even at its lowest setting, are the other phones as bright or can be dimmer more than the X10?

a side by side picture/video in a dark setting with a white screen on the phones will help

simple question: What is the amount of RAM of Neo? I couldnt quite find the accurate answer, as the answers I found on the internet vary.

I used Mini Notes from Dynotes and it recognizes 335MB of RAM.

Will there be a version that supports the 850MHZ band for the US?

Of course smile happy

It's right here: http://www.sonyericsson.com/cws/products/mobilephones/overview/xperia-neo

The Xperia neo is quadband, so no matter where you purchase it, it will have 850MHZ band.

Sorry, let me rephrase. Do you know if there will be a version that supports the UMTS 850MHz band?

Ah, ok

UMTS/HSPA 900/2100
UMTS HSPA 800/1900/2100

Above are the two configurations. What carrier are you on in the US? I'm in the Caribbean right now, and I'm using 1900 (Obviously) on my carrier here for 3G/UMTS right now.

I'm on AT&T, so we on 850/1900. I'm guess the Neo isn't part of the US market plan, eh?
