Re: PC companion not able to detect Neo v in MTP mode

download this software also..

http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/tools/update-service

this is an official sony software so don't worry..

it installs important drivers.

after installling it , restart your pc and then try to connect your phone..

Re: PC companion not able to detect Neo v in MTP mode

If it's working occasionally I suspect something in the PC is in conflict with PC Companion.

Press Ctrl+Alt+Del and see what processes that are running. Close the ones you don't need for the moment and see if you can pinpoint if one of them are causing this. Fire walls and anti-virus programs are usually the bad guys.

Also, all drivers needed to use the phone with PC Companion comes with PC Companion (installation). You do not need Update Service to use PCC.

Try to run Windows Update and make sure Windows Media Player is up to date. Your MTP drivers might be old and if they are you should get new ones when you update WMP.
