Xperia battery and update

hi people,

how is u??? hope ur doin well.....

I just want to know, how do I lower the temperature of my xperia mini battery ie. EP500(li-poly).

Please please, I desperately need an answer to this question...

I'm facing another issue ie.why am I not able to update my phone software from

4.0.A.2.377  to  4.0.2.A.0.42.

It's showin an update but not able to access.....Plz help....

I'm assuming the battery gets really really hot, if it does, then it might be an app issue or a bug, which can be fixed if you update/repair your phone

How to install it

You need to

go to settings -> applications -> check unknown sources

download IO File Manager

download the backup & restore app, transfer it to your SD card, use OI file manager to find it -> tap on it -> install it

Contacts

just to play it safe sync your contacts w/ google if you haven't already

open your phonebook

press MENU button -> tap on Send Contacts -> select all -> send it to your email

on your computer

-> download the file -> go to your gmail -> click on contacts -> click on more actions -> on the drop down menu click on "import" -> choose the file -> and click import

Apps

Don't worry so much about backing up your apps

on your computer go to

market.android.com -> log in -> click on My Library -> and send all your apps to your phone

SMS/MMS

if you don't want to use the backup & restore app then

Install "backup SMS" to back up your SMS and MMS to your Gmail

then use  Update Service (SEUS) to update your phone

You update or repair the software in this phone. You cannot cool the battery in any way without simply not using the phone (which will generate heat). Use PC Companion for this and make sure to backup all data before.

If this won't help you should have this phone examined at a local service center. Have a word with the local support team before contacting a service center. There might be local repair routines you need to be informed about.
