Xperia Go touch screen problem.

[ Edited ]

I had a place on a screen are not receiving my touch feedback when i tried messaging with keyboard. the backspace, O, P are not responding. If I rotate the phone/keyboard,  My space button i not working now.

Weird tho, if Swipe unlock the same area, it work. Draging an icon pass that area is working.

It is possible the certain area on the touch screen are not working?

Re: Xperia Go touch screen problem.

Test the touch screen using the application Xperia diagnostics:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sonymobile.androidapp.functiontester

You could also try to repair the phone software using PC Companion:

http://www.sonymobile.com/update

In PC Companion, press start on Support Zone > Start on Update the phones software > Press the blue link that says "Repair phone".

Re: Xperia Go touch screen problem.

Same problem as mine. See the link below. Is this a common issue with this model?

Re: Xperia Go touch screen problem.

If the problem persist after a repair of the phone software , I suggest that you contact your local Xperia support team to get information about nearest service center so your unit can get examined and fixed:

Re: Xperia Go touch screen problem.

Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

I would suggest that you try to boot your phone into safe mode to see if the problem may be related to any 3rd party app that you have installed in your phone:

http://talk.sonymobile.com/t5/FAQ/How-to-boot-your-phone-into-safe-mode/m-p/348008#U348008

If the behavior persists, I suggest that you try to make a factory reset, and if that doesn't help, I suggest that you have your phone examined by a service center. Please contact your local Xperia support team for more information:

Re: Xperia Go touch screen problem.

i have the same problem... when i bought the phone last December 29, 2014 it functioned however one to two weeks after my  touch screen response became disfunctional so i decided to give to the enterprise where i bought the unit. it took me almost 7 months until now to know the condition of the phone and until now no cure was done for the unit. Moreover, the sonyericson company through the Millington Enterprise told me that i need to pay P8,500.00 for the repair. I asked then why should i pay in the first place it was a defect of your product and i waaited for how many months and until now no repair was done.
