Xperia ARC 2.3.2 PCC saying that it is already updated.

Hey guys..i'm from Brazil and got a Xperia ARC with 2.3.2...

on SE Xperia website it show an updated version available but when i connect my phone to PCC it show that my phone is already updated.

what should I do? my battery leaks like water!! should I update by flashing it? if i do, what will be erased ?

your country / network might be the problem, remove the sim card and try using Update Service

make sure you backup everything before the update

How to install it

You need to

go to settings -> applications -> check unknown sources

download IO File Manager

download the backup & restore app, transfer it to your SD card, use OI file manager to find it -> tap on it -> install it

Contacts

just to play it safe sync your contacts w/ google if you haven't already

open your phonebook

press MENU button -> tap on Send Contacts -> select all -> send it to your email
on your computer
-> download the file -> go to your gmail -> click on contacts -> click on more actions -> on the drop down menu click on "import" -> choose the file -> and click import
Apps

Don't worry so much about backing up your apps

on your computer go to

market.android.com -> log in -> click on My Library -> and send all your apps to your phone

SMS/MMS

if you don't want to use the backup & restore app then

Install "backup SMS" to back up your SMS and MMS to your Gmail

I have just upgraded my sony xperia arc to 2.3.4 and not happy with the build. Does any one know how to rollback to 2.3.3.

I am searching online but just cant find out how to rollback the OS from 2.3.4 to 2.3.3.

Experts out there, please adivce. I badly need to rollback to 2.3.3 Sony build
