remove the SIM and SD card and see if the problem persists, also repair your phone with SUS or PCC

Below is what I am observing so hopefully this will help in troubleshooting to support personnels.
I used repair software through PC companion. Every thing was working fine untill I connected my phone to my PC through a usb cable, it went to reboot.
Well I remember last time as well it was something similar, but I did saw my phone rebooting when not connected to PC.

I can't really understand what the problem is, but this frequent reboots are creating too much of a problem. I don't have any additional programs installed.

My Xperia Arc S was restarting after dropping it on a table from like 3-5 cm.
It looks like it is a matter of a little bit loose battery. I wrapped mine with paper, put it into the phone, closed the cover and started the phone. Now even after dropping the phone from like 10 cm it does not restart anymore.

So what is the status now? Did you try the repair or tightened the battery with a paper? Bcos I'm facing the same prob here. Because in my case I tried the both but problem still exists.

Hi Guys I found the problem and restart issue solved in my Arc S.
In my case I changed the "Network Mode" in "Mobile Network Settings" to "GSM only" and since then my phone is working wihout any problem. Not a single restart even when I'm playing heavy games like Asphalt 6: Adrenaline and NFS Shift. Greatly running with ICS as well. It looks like there is a HW problem in SE receiver I guess. Sometimes this solution might not work with your handset because it may be related to your country as well I think. BTW I'm from Sri Lanka.
So give it a try guys... :smileywink:
