You need ClockworkMod in case you screw up and the phone won't boot - CWM can be accessed as the phone is starting up - long before it loads any system files...  :smileyhappy:

Can't stop anyone from doing stuff on their phone. The point is that he must know and understand what he is doing and accept the consequences.

By the way, rooting could void your warranty (which I believe you know) .... :smileywink:

aah yes i know thats why i was reluctant.. but doing a software update will unroot.. and i believe it will not leave any clue behind :smileyhappy:

and well , the centre guys most probably dont know about rooting :smileylaugh: :smileylaugh:

theres still java sdk file which have to be downloaded.....

Why are you downloading the Java SDK?

Plug in your phone, make sure USB Debugging is enabled and let zergrush rip!  If the wrong drivers are installed or you're missing any s/w then it won't work - but it won't break your phone.

As long as zergrush can 'see' your phone via USB all should be well.

well i saw the guide and it said

4) Install Android SDK (if you haven't already)

and in android sdk it asked for java sdk..
