Connect your phone to a wall charger > let it charge for about 1 hour > after 1 hour repair your phone with either PCC or SUS

Re: turn off safe mode

i would suggest you to try "flashtool" and flash another FTF file to see if it resolves your issue.

flashtool download can be found here: http://www.flashtool.net/

tutorial on how to use flashtool: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2240614

ftf files of xperia z can be found in the general section of xda: http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=2084&order=desc

good luck

Re: turn off safe mode

Indeed flashtool its an option but it might void the warranty with certain carriers/countries

first backup your phone then give it a shot, or just take it to a Sony repair center
