Xperia U ICS> LESS FREE RAM?

Earlier on Gingerbread, I used to have a free RAM of about 190-200 MB. After upgrading to ICS, the maximum free RAM hangs around just 140 MB.
What is the issue? Does ICS processes eat up more RAM?

No issues here.
Although you are right, more modern OS' do consume more RAM and system resources.

What applications do you have installed?

Re: Xperia U ICS> LESS FREE RAM?

Yes I do use the original ROM.

I used a status bar mod I found on XDA. It also adds power toggles to the notification area, and has a CM9 feel.

Yeah, rooted. Adblocking applied, CPU optimised, I/O scheduler changed, apps backed up with Titanium Backup, bloat uninstalled and V6 Supercharger applied :smileyhappy:

I hope lots of people get the update. So many abusive people on these forums.

Sorry for my image being dark, Night Mode dims screenshots as well as the brightness XD
