No, you cannot be 100% sure that it will work but it is not that you need a Sony charger and all other will not work. Most chargers will probably work.
Sony and most major android manufacturers are working together to form a standard, Qi Wareless Chargning so I think you can expect chargers for most androidphones to work with Xperia Z and future Sony models. But as always with new tech, there are quirks that needs to be fixed.
Give it some time and I am sure the problems is fixed and it will work as fine as micro-usb cables work today. We can be happy knowing there is a standard at least.

To make it short:
Not in the way you think of. Wireless charging is no problem with cradle. Xperia Z has two contacts outside make it possible to charge without micro usb plug.
In my opinion wireless charging should be forbidden because of the energy dissipation. we all try to save environment don´t we. We need no technical standard needing more energy than before.

@gregorg1 I agree with you, wireless charging (charging pad) seems like a nice feature but its not energy efficient, the way the Xperia Z charges with the Dock it's great
