I switched from a SEMC C510a to an Xperia Ray a few weeks ago.
Since making the switch, I am getting numerous complaints:
- Uplink Audio is choppy
- Uplink audio cuts out and doesn't reconnect (downlink audio still working)
To elminate link quality from the equation, this happens in my home office when I am within 20 feet of my ATT microcell.
This happens with and without bluetooth hands free.
Any thoughts? I run my business from this phone and it is not good for business!
Thanks in advance.

Could you elaborate what you mean by uplink audio? Do you transmit sound via a Internet connection to some service?

Uplink audio means the audio from my phone uplinked from my phone & heard in the ear (or in this case, not heard) in the ear of the listener on the other end.
Nothing weird. No Internet connection. Just an industry term used by SEMC since the 90's for the audio transmitted from the phone.

Ok. Well have you tried updating the phone software? You can use PC Companion to update or repair the phone software if you already have the latest one.

As I wrote above, you can use PC Companion to repair the phone software.
In PC Companion go to Support Zone > Software Update > Repair phone
Do this while phone is unplugged via USB.
