Done reflashing... everything seems to work fine and dandy... I will do a repair again.
Hmmm, is there a number of limits for the phone to be reflashed over and over again?
EDIT : Oh man! I have to painfully repeat the process when the culprit was an App. The Extreme Call Blocker app is causing the Widget error.

oops, you could have waited for me to help you out, but it extremely good that you made it yourself, this increases confidence
anyways you can reflash 100 times a day without any problem :smileywink:

i'm a bit late to the party here, but am looking to get the ROM for the Xperia Ray in case my carrier decides not to ahead with it (left vodafone uk a post on their forum, they seem reluctant to give a straight answer on the matter).
i've downloaded the Flashtool and installed it with the update but everytime i try to download the rom from the link in the original post, i get sent to rapidshare and presented with a 404 error. has the rom been moved / taken down or do i need to set up a rapidshare account to obtain it.
cheers in advance and nice one for the legwork Nabeel
