Forst of all, go to cwm app and select install CWM ( If not done before ). Now switch off your device and restart it , as soon as you see Blue LED , press home/menu/back key
See if you enter CWM
If not then i must assume you installed the wrong CWM
For Neo V the app is different
Install this app from above, after installing it, go to CWM app > select install CWM > done
Now reboot your device
as soon as you see Blue LED , press home/menu/back key

I also can not go into recovery mode by above method in Xperia Pro. I have install CWM 126.96.36.199 (nAa's CWM 188.8.131.52) for Xperia Phones. I can enter into recovery mode from going in to CWM software and pressing reboot in to recovery.
Is there any specific link for that please send it.
Thank you in advance.

For Xperia Pro, go to google play to download it ( App name is X- Parts )
After installing, open the app and scroll to right ( installs tab) , select install recovery ( make sure you have active internet connection )

Im new to all this rooting and flashing roms stuff. Some how I have rooted my xperia neo v but the bootloader is locked. I'm trying to install a custom. But I'm unable to enter the recovery mode. I have installed the app 'x-parts' from the market, downloaded CWM 184.108.40.206 (which is for stock ICS). Now for entering the recovery I reboot the phone and when the Sony logo appears press volume key down but my phone does not enter the recovery mode. It reboots normally. I've read on many forums that after installing CWM when you reboot your phone a blue led turns on that's the time you have to press the volume key down. But I don't see any blue led . Please help me. My phone is currently running on ICS.
