I recently upgraded my MK16i (which I am generally very pleased with) to 4.0.2.A.0.58/2.3.4 - and ever since the GSM signal is awful.

When I first got the phone I noted that it seemed to get better reception than my recent phones (Nokia N900, Nokia E7), but since this upgrade the phone does not get a signal unless it is in a really good signal area.

In places where I used to get 5 bars, I now get 1.
In places where I used to get 2 or 3 bars, I now get no signal at all.

Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

Please can anyone direct me to a fix?

I now have a phone that is not working as a phone like it used to!!
